Romano`s Macaroni Grill in Murfreesboro

I used to go for happy hour sometimes for tasty appetizers and just hadn't been in a while. I stopped in for lunch and think it's one of the best lunch menus around. They have a lot of combination options. I did a specialty salad and a little pasta for $10. I like that you can choose from several salad options, for instance, rather than being limited to house and caesar. The one suggestion I have for management is to move along service at lunchtime as many people are limited on time.

Food delicious and our server, Addie, was happy, sweet and most accommodating even with it being Thanksgiving. Thank you all for taking such good care of us.

They lost my Togo order. Then took them over an hour to get it ready. If I hadn't already paid for it I would have told them to suck it. If you are eating in the restaurant they are wonderful but they seriously need to work on their Togo or do away with it.

The food was excellent and our server was amazing. He got our drinks promptly and waited patiently with us as we were deciding what to eat and he even helped me choose a gluten free pasta dish. He never let our drinks go empty and he was an amazing server. Normally I am iffy on dining out since customer service isn’t always great, but he was an amazing server and it made the experience pleasurable. WILL BE BACK!

Intoxicating atmosphere. Lovely to sit by the fireplace. Food AND drinks were on point!

Terrible service we reserved a table for a party of 3 on Christmas for 5 oclock. Not only did we have to wait in line for 5 minutes before speaking to the lady in charge of our seating. When mentioning our reservation she appeared like she had difficulty finding our name on the list but confirmed we were in line to be seated. We were patient we were aware they were very short staffed. They had many tables available and the family right before us had already been seated 15 minutes prior. They then called to seat 2 more parties a party of 3 and a party of 4 that came in after us. When we confronted the lady who was responsible for seating us. She double checked and confirmed we were listed. Another family that came in after us was then seated. So we confronted the lady again and she said we were next and to be patient. At this point we had already waited 1 hour and 15 minutes. They called another party of 3 and that was the final straw. We left without ever getting seated.

Our server was busy, and despite the restaurant being slower, we were set in the area where they keep the paper, we kept getting walk bys. It was my birthday dinner, nothing was outstanding. Handed the server my ID for a Perroni, they did not notice the date, understandable but a little dissappoining. Food was decent, I did get a free Birthday dessert after my boyfriend told the server it was my Birthday. Though, he also wrote it in Crayon with a arrow pointing to me "it's her Birthday". Not terrible but idk if we'll go back.

Had to take back togo food. The lobster bisque was seafood water and my husband mashed potatoes were drowned in so much grease it was inedible i took puctures it was so bad. When i brought it back it took nearly 15 minutes to recieve me refund and alls the manager said was sorry about that.

I have always enjoyed the food here. Good atmosphere and service. Unfortunately it's not very popular. I've been coming here back when they let you serve yourself wine at the table. The food is consistent Italian style. If you like Italian and don't want to wait this is your place.

Bread and olive oil was good, the fried Brussels spout....not so much !

We ate lunch here on Christmas Day. The service and food was top-notch. We love eating here because the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. We enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to eat here again.

I really like this place. If I don't feel like dealing with the olive garden crowd I go here. It feels like a more adult version of olive garden....with better food. They do have a kids menu I do believe.

The food was so good! Man, I haven't had lasagna like that in a while. The prices weren't all that high either, very reasonable. Good attention too. I'll be here again!

Service is fantastic. Seafood was a little dry and brussel sprouts weren't very fresh. Rest of the dinner was amazing.

I won't say I hated it because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the bread they served us tasted dried out, old, and cold, no flavor. The calamari we ordered was way over cooked very chewy and dried out. Honestly I was really disappointed. Our entrees were fine and the sweet tea was good.

The absolute worst restaurant in Murfreesboro. They are extremely inconsiderate. In no way hospitable, and their staff could care less about customer service. I would highly recommend going to Marina’s. Service is absolutely impeccable at Marina’s. Do not waste your money on a corporate chain that clearly doesn’t staff or train their employees well. Support a local business instead.

We go there all the time and usually 5 Stars. Server was good but food was average. You could tell some dishes had been sitting longer than others. Pasta color was darker from sitting longer. We will be back though. They don't usually let us down

This was the absolute worst experience ever! This was a long time favorite.... now I will never visit another. From the moment you walk in you feel extremely unwelcome. Lettuce wilted and brown and every dish missing items and ingredients. Management doesn’t care.

Like others in this Italian restaurant chain, Romano's serves up good food with a lot of variety. Service is generally much better than average. This Romano's is typical. It is a consistent winner.

One server for a table of 12 she had no chance of keeping up. Entire tables food came out cold. Took 1 1/2 hours to get our food after being seated. Brussels were burned to the point they tasted like charcoal. Asked for a medium rare steak that came out cold and rare. Overall very over priced with questionable service and substandard food would not recommend.

The food was really good. A bit overpriced but worth it. But C'mon who doesn't want bread with their pasta dish?

I came in shortly before closing but got excellent service and my food was extremely fresh and fast. Not only did my server bag up my leftovers, but he also gave me an extra loaf of the bread. I was only disappointed that the restaurant seemed so empty. They've got great food and I hope they don't go out of business.

Went for my son's Birthday last night and no one wanted to come sing with our server. I was a bit disappointed because 1) there were no servers on the floor at their tables and 2) he chooses this place every year. At the minimum the hostess could have came too. This place just makes me uncomfortable with the lack of diversity so hopefully he never chooses this place again. 100% unacceptable!!

Had reservations at 8, still took a half hour to get sat, didnt receive drinks or bread til 9. Food didnt touch table til 10. Wasnt Able to leave til 1045 waiting on check. Manager never came by to check on us. Waitress hardly did either. Not ideal for Valentines day.

Waited 2 hours for nothing. I haven’t seen my mother for 4 years to take her out for a nice Mother’s Day lunch and the waiter was awful. We watched 20 other families come in and get their food while we waited. We were told food is coming soon. What a awful place. I drove by there for many years thinking I should go there. Well was I wrong. I wouldn’t go back if it was the last place on earth. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Excellent experience. Had not eaten here in years but popped in for lunch today. SO enjoyed the atmosphere of quiet music that was enjoyable without being intrusive to those around me who were visiting over lunch. Though I was dining alone, "Cam" gave my table the same attention he was giving tables of 2-4. I asked for several extras and he promptly delivered each, along with tea refills.I ordered off the Mix & Match menu -- what a GREAT LUNCH VALUE! Food was fresh, delicious, and filling. Seriously, can't wait to come back and bring my husband. The only confusing thing to me is why the dining room isn't absolutely PACKED!

The food was awesome(Chicken Marsala and Parmesan incrusted sole), and actually seemed like larger portions than we had on the past. Since it was Easter Sunday we expected it to take longer to get our food. However, it came quickly after I finished the soup. The bread is always delicious. The Special soup was very flavorful and full of ingredients.The only disappointment was the delay in getting refills of Sweet Tea and water.

I liked the place when I walked in. It felt very open and the lights were beautiful and was very clean. The server we had did seem very new by the way he was acting nervous. The bathrooms were really well kept and I didnt feel unsafe or like it wasnt cleaned. The table had this paper on it kids or anyone could draw on which kinda confused us at first. Other than that the food was really good and the drinks tasted fresh and not like they have been through a dirty machine

My favorite place to eat the lamb chops are amazing but everything on the menu is.

Our service was excellent. My one complaint is I ordered unlimited salad with my entree, the salad was wilted and discolored, I had to ask for a fresh salad and it wasn't much better. I didn't eat anymore salad, I was disappointed, but the rest of the meal was delicious.

Passing by town and decided to stop by for sushi. The sushi was delicious! especially the seared tuna appetizer! The miso soup was so-so and not that good (luke warm and had an odd taste) but I am still giving this restaurant 5 stars for a great menu and nice interior. I am leaving this review as someone who travels frequently for business and has had sushi from countless sushi restaurants around the country.

Chae provided excellent service, and the manager checked on us to make sure our meal was great. Hard to beat a great meal with excellent service.

Was told our wait would be an 60-90 mins. After 90 mins we asked the hostess how much longer and was told no more than 30 mins. We waited another 45 mins and left.

Great food as usual but service was terrible! Our table was right beside the restrooms and service hut...not good. They should be hiring servers older than 16...

Go hungry because they serve you plenty. The service is great! They are very attentive and everything on the menu is excellent!

Just left there 15 minutes ago. Walked in and no host present. There was an employee at a register who obviously didnt want to be bothered. After 2 minutes a host comes from the back and asks how many. I tell her 3 and she mentions to the waitress that shes seating us at whatever table number to which the waitress replies... "I already have 2 tables that I haven't gotten orders for." Oh did I mention there was only 5 cars in the parking lot with only two parties in the whole restaurant? So the host mumbles something to me walks away and goes back to the cook. I waited a few moments later and finally just left. Now I'm at Carrabba's where its packed and we already received our drinks and appetizers.

Amazing food, bread and staff!! We love their trio dish!! I love their Lasagna!!! My daughter loves their Chicken Alfredo and Parmesan Chicken!! MyThey have the best tea by far from anywhere!!

My husband and I have been here about five times in the last year and something is always off about the experience. The first time we went it was the food but we decided to give it another try because it could have been the specific dishes we bought. A few times it has been poor servers. Tonight, specifically, we had a server who kept forgetting what we asked for and we had to keep asking for them. He also brought me a cold soup that was suppose to be served hot. He told me it took so long to get the soup because the people in the back were suppose to be warming it up. I made the comment to my husband tonight that we only keep coming here because we know it won't be busy and it never is busy. There are definitely reasons as to why this Macaroni Grill is never busy.

I had the Shrimp Alfredo which was delicious!
